Elbow and shoulder Injury of young pitcher are big problem in Japan.

When I (Mr.Kuwata) was around 15 years old,I was pretty good pitcher.

But I was also recognize that there were much more talented excellent young pitchers at my age.I thougt I was not good compared to them.

But most of them were gone,because of injury of elbow and shoulder.

They overworked and need to quit baseball.

In Japan there is no "pitching limited number".and also head coaches focus victory,so they make good young pitcher overwork.

We need to change this behavior and culture.

We need to learn from the good system in US.

 I was shocked Mr.Kuwata`s comments that many young talented pitcher gave up their baseball because of overwork.

Many schools and junior sports club and their head coaches are focused too much for victory. And they train students just like sevire military training.Studens(Athletes) obey head coaches. That is a kind of Japanese culture but we need to change that kind of behavior.

Last night Japan beat  Australia 79-78. The match was held in Tokyo.

20 year old Hachimura who is now Gonzaga University in Washinton state in US did a great job.

 Day after tomorrow 2nd July, Japan vs Taiwan, in Taipei.

So far Philippines 4 win 1 lose.
