Outrageous instruction by Nihon Univ American football coach②

In May,dangerous late tackle happened during the official university match in Tokyo.

It is now social issue in Japan.

To win the game,head coach instructed injury.

Here are comments by Mr.Ijuin.(from weekly magazine, Shukan-Bunshun)

This misconduct is crazy thing

The player who did late tackle to the quarterback has a big responsiblitiy,too.

Because he is 20 years old. He is adult person.

Even if the head coach instructed him to do so,he should not have do it,if he loves American football.

I am sure that the ministry of education and Japan sports agency will make some action to Nihon Univ.

Such as cutting subsidy.

Nihon Univ is a private university, not public university.

But,Japanese goverment offer US$ 90,000,000 subsidy to Nihon Univ every year. That is huge amount ! I did not know Japanese government support such big money to private school.

The ex-head coach was a boad member of Nihon Univ.

Actually he was No 3 or 4 in Nihon Univ bureaucrat system. He had a big power.

Nihon Univ is the biggest university in Japan

. They have about 70,000 students all over Japan.

Money under the table to ex-head coach.

My company has been selling some sports related products to Nihon Univ American football team. And we actually send some money to ex-head coach. Total about US$ 130,000.
