Disital revolution of Baseball TV broadcast

Today I joined the seminar related TV media. 

Seminar title and speakers.

The host is Mr.Kanazawa,  analysis from Data stadium company.

What is Abema TV.

Internet TV without charge.

It has about 20 channels for 24hrs.

They're Internet masmedia.

They broadcast sports for Baseball,K-1,Sumo wrestling and so on.

Established 2016.

TV Asahi and Cyber agent are owners.

70 percent of viewers are under 35 years old.

感情移入ポイントを入れないと見てもらえない。

Young viewers change channel frequently.

So, it's important to attract viewers instantly. 

Nowadays,there are too many platforms 

So,uniequeness and originally are important.

Sometimes some jokes and interesting data can make people happy.

Professional Baseball team Yokohama Baystars often corporate with Abema TV.

NHK MLB program director Mr.Masatoshi Tanaka.

They have 15 minutes MLB program everyday during MLB seasons 

 NHK has been trying to use data to make baseball fans happy.

They use a ball tracking system and data effectively.

Interesting data can make baseball TV program more interesting.

NHK has been corporating with data analys company called Data Stadium.

To make partners who work with NHK for data is important.

But NHK has their own analysis computer and data analysists.

They even have their original data analysis program ZEUSE.

I once enjoyed NHK's baseball program with variety of analysis data.

It was really interesting.

NHK is really keen on a state of the art broadcast technology.

I like their efforts to try to make sports more fun.

And Abema TV is the one and only in Japan.

They are not TV broadcasting company,so they don't have to follow Japanese strict public broadcast rules.

I want them to try more new and challenging things.
